More Holiday Madness: Tips to Stay Fabulously Slim During the Holidays

With the Holiday's approaching I thought it would be great to post some tips to stay slim during the holiday season...I know sometimes that seems so impossible when people are dangling sweet potato pie and candied yams in your face....

1) "No Carmel Mocha Please" - Or any other coffee inspired beverage.  Turn that cup of java in for black tea, it will still give you a boost but spares you in the cortisol (a stress hormone that causes you to crave food).

2) Get 7 Servings- Of fruits and veggies that is.  Pack your refrigerator with bags of cut-up vegetables and whole or cut-up fruits. Grab a bag while on the go or at work.

3) Eat Before You Shop - Yes I said it...avoid the food court at all costs try to munch down on a healthy breakfast or lunch before doing any shopping.

4) Have a healthy snack prior to attending parties - This will help curb your appetite an how much you choose to indulge at the party.  If it's a holiday potluck be sure to bring a healthy dish (salad, fruit or veggie tray).

5) Dress Sexy - When you attend a party wear something that will make you think long and hard about eating too much.

6) Say "No Thank You"- Most times at parties we find ourselves eating because it's right there in front of us.  Learn to pass on some of the passed foods.
